Broccoli slaw

Wonderful new flavors happen to broccoli when you cut it thin, mix it with vegan mayonnaise and add a touch of spice. It becomes a flavorful vegetarian treat.

Ingredients

1 bn broccoli (large, chopped into 1/4 inch pieces)
1⁄2 c mayonnaise (or egg free, dairy free salad cream)
1⁄2 t cumin (ground)
1⁄2 t chili powder
  salt

Instructions

Mix together the mayonnaise, cumin, chili powder, lime juice, cayenne pepper and salt.

Add the broccoli pieces and toss.

Chill for a few hours.

Notes

Vegetarians: Use vegetarian mayonnaise or dairy free, egg free salad cream.

Non vegetarians: Use normal mayonnaise and sprinkle with crispy bacon bits.
